Gargoyles: Redemption

I am sooooo normal about the pack from hit 90s disney cartoon Gargoyles. you give me a group of villains? and make them DOG CODED? literally called the pack????? I am hitting them with the found family beam. nothing can stop me.

screenshot of the pack from gargoyles

Gargoyles as a show is really incredible at giving every single character more screentime and development than you'd expect, and the pack definitely get more development than you'd expect from a goofy squad of b-list baddies; Wolf, Dingo, and Jackal + Hyena respectively each get their own episode, Fox leaves the pack to become a major player in the show, and Dingo even gets a genuine redemption arc, and to be a protagonist in the spin-off comic; Bad Guys: Redemption. so I have some stuff to work with when it comes to making a rediculously long fanfiction about them and hitting them with the found family beam.

this project actually has some writing posted for it! what I have so far is available to read on my AO3:

this project is on hiatus due to gargoyles living again after a thousand years

Gargoyles has recently gotten new content in the form of a new comic series, written by series writer Greg Weisman. typically, what is canon is determined by whether Greg wrote it (with the exception of that porn parody he wrote. *shudders, not because I'm a prude but bc it made me know things about greg's kinks that I didn't want to know*)
anyway, what this means is that the new comics are canon, and they're the first new canon we've gotten in like, a decade or something. and of course it fucks with all my carefully laid headcanons!
so I'm gonna have to catch up on those to figure out what backstory details I want to keep from canon and what I want to throw out the window alongside Timedancer and many other recent developments in the canon.
